Man Charged for Fatal Gas Station Shooting


MINNEAPOLIS - A 21-year-old man was charged Thursday for shooting three people Sunday morning and resulted in the death of one.

Ryedelle Loving was charged with one count of murder in the second degree and two counts of attempted murder in the second degree.

Sgt. William Palmer, of the Minneapolis Police Dept., says officers responded to a report of shots fired at the Old Colony gas station at 1624 Washington Avenue North, just off the Broadway Ave exit on I-94 northbound. Sgt. Palmer says when officers arrived they found three men with apparent shooting outside the business.

All three victims were taken to HCMC. Police say one male died of his injuries at HCMC, one male has a life-threatening injury and one male has a non-life threatening injury.

The victim was identified as 28-year-old Gilbert Noland Jordan of Brooklyn Center.
